Hi! I am new with tuneecu, and I have a question.
I was not able to download a correct tune for my bike, so I installed one tune for SAI and unmarked this option. It that correct? It is worse than installing a specific tune?

So, basically I have a 2013 STORM ABS, hogslayers, bc air filter, decat and I just realized that I have no second air injection because the mods that I have installed gave me an error. After unmarking SAI, I am ok.

Is there a tune that someone can suggest? The first option in the repository is now downloading. I am not looking for high performance or something spectacular. Just wanna reduce a little the backfires.

Thanks.

I have not looked at the new version of TuneEcu but I am surprised that there isn't something close to what you need. From memory have a look at Slcharger's tunes but read them carefully as he has done some mods later on that no one else has.

Experience is something you get just after you needed it
1600,Foran Razorbacks, Meerkat bypass, Dyno tune, real headlight, plenty of chrome, switchblade pegs, Hagon Nitro shocks & Ikon progressive fork springs etc. Scorpion Western Low handlebars. PH adjustable fork caps.

Im running a slightly modded SLcharger tune on my Storm and its certainly woken it up with very little backfiring and popping. Highly reccomend it

I tried a few different ones but the 1 I have now works the best, my fuel mileage is a little down but I can live with that

Thanks for the Roses, I did put quite a bit of work into those 1700 tunes, back then, just like Aussiebird did for the 1600 tunes.

I am glad you like it.

Thank you for sharing. Having some years of experience with Tune Ecu, I know what goes into doing a Tune and its great that people put in the effort and share.

I maybe barking up the wrong tree, as I have zero knowledge of SAI on the birdie, but did have a ZRX1100, that had it as a stock item.
My understanding of that system was, it dumped cold fresh air into the exhaust port, in an effort to dilute the exhaust gasses enough to pass the then EPA regs.

Anyways as the ZRX1100 was destined to become my road regoed, drag bike, like a lot of stuff, the SAI got removed, to trim off excessive fat. All the pity of the chunky *#*k riding it

I would believe that the tunes wouldn't differ enough to warrant any worries, just disable via the checkbox as you have done. You'll soon know if something aint right. "Is there a tune that someone can suggest? The first option in the repository is now downloading. I am not looking for high performance or something spectacular. Just use Kims tune. Triumph Thunderbird, and High performance, or something spectacular just shouldn't be used in the same sentence. It was never meant to be, but it can be made a whole lot better. Well unless ya go fitting a TTS supercharger.

The more I understand the human race, the more I love my bike.
